Sugar Paper

This was my first time using Wilton's sugar paper. I just used cheap grocery store frosting and really didn't take my time frosting this cake, but I really just wanted to use the sugar paper. I didn't really like using on the frosting, I didn't think it was that great. I will try again using it on fondant.

Rose's Welcome Home Cake

The white fondant is the Wilton's and the Black fondant is Duff. I liked the Duff's better, it just seamed easier to use. It was the second one I did also though, and I haven't used fondant in over 5 years. So practice will make better. So, I look forward to making more cakes so I can perfect my use of fondant.

The stripes and flowers were made with Wilton's sugar paper. I am loving that stuff. It is so much fun. It is pretty pricey though.

I made a yellow cake with, banana pudding filling with chopped nuts and chopped bananas in the filing.

Well I actually did not make this cake. This was for a cake auction for our Pack in Hermiston, OR. And since was a Dad and Me project, Josh helped Jacob make this cake.
